Wow! Autumn feels as though it really is here now as the dampness rises from the fields in the early evening as a wonderful magical mist. However, this is making the evenings cooler, so if you get a chance, call into Bibury Antiques Fair this coming Sunday, 4th September, we are open from 10am to 4pm. My breakfast this morning was Trout, with bread and butter, and Bibury has the oldest Trout Farm in England, and I can recommend it! So, there’s food to buy in Bibury, as well as antiques this Sunday, and if the weather is good, there’s the option of just sitting on a wall and watching the world go by whilst enjoying a coffee from the cafe Twig, or lunch at The Catherine Wheel, or checking out one of the many venues in the area for a future wedding or party! Lots to do near here, and some of the short walks do go through interesting villages nearby, some have pubs along the way too! Naturally, an item from our fair could be a wonderful gift for yourself or a friend, and could bring many happy memories of the day for years to come, so I hope you find something! We are coming to the end of a Bank Holiday weekend, but “Other weekends are available”! Regards, Andy.

July Fair Soon!
Hello all! Just a little reminder about our next Bibury Fair, as we will be on show on July 3rd, from 10am until 4pm. June event changes date.
Hello all. Just a little reminder about the date change to our June event. Due to The Queens Jubilee, we have moved our date one week backwards, so we will be on show on June 12th. Pop in and see us then. We have a good show lined up for the next few months already. Here’s a few photos of how we were in May. Regards, Andy.
May? Yes May the 1st!
Hello all. Bibury Antiques Fair restarted in April, on the 3rd, and our second event of the year is on Sunday May 1st! Our first event was such a ;lovely welcome back, we had lots of visitors to the village, and friends to the fair. So many travel from different places across the world to view Bibury, a Gloucestershire gem, and some take home a little treat from the fair, giving an extra memory of the day they had there. This month, one of our stallholders cannot be with us, so we have someone else to fill the stall with treasures! Pop in to see what they have! Should you be nearby and have time and the interest to visit, we open at 10am, and close at 4pm. We do have a visitors book, our first signature from last month belonged to people from Utah! Here are a few photographs of our stalls from last month. Best wishes all!
Please be seated, let us begin……
Hello all! Well, tomorrow, on Sunday 3rd April we will be on show at Bibury Village Hall. We open at 10am and close at 4pm. Whilst I am not sure what the weather will be like, I suggest a decent warm coat just in case, the sunshine is lovely, but it’s not as warm as one thinks. In Bibury there’s plenty to see, by just wandering around, the Church, walks around the area, the Trout Farm is the oldest in Britain I think, and there’s The Catherine Wheel pub, as well as the Swan Inn, and not forgetting a more recent venue, The Twig, a small, but well packed coffee shop, who also sell fabulous sausage rolls, as I found out the other day! So if one gets a little time, stroll around the village and come to see us in The Village Hall near to the Church, and maybe an item or two may catch your liking, there’s lots to see, jewellery, glassware, brassware, ceramics, paintings and pictures, King Penguin books, and even some smaller items of furniture, and maybe some antique woodworking tools. Something I know is certainly going to be there is this recently tidied garden bench, just four feet long, or 120cm it’s an attractive simple comfortable garden bench. Here it is, and have a great weekend, thanks, Andy.
Nearly there!
Hello! Just a little note to say that Bibury Antiques Fair is on it’s way back! We return to The Village Hall on April 3rd 2022. Not long to wait now then. I’m just checking how all our dealers are and will be in showing a few photo’s of last years events to tempt you to come along and see us, maybe even buy something! We will be opening at 10am and we close at 4pm. Here are a few photo’s of past events so I hope you like them. Bye for now. Regards, Andy.
