Hello again. Our event in Bibury is a small antiques fair, however, like many places we do also sell collectables. Here is one picture, which could well be collectable. Exhibited at the Summer Exhibition at The Royal Academy in 1992, and still sporting the original frame, and label from that time. This is a woodcut, one of twenty which were for sale, although there were 25 made by Mrs Fyne Marianne Fox Ockinga. Measures approx 24 1/2″ by 17″. Pop in and see if it’s still available on Sunday June 2nd. Woodcuts are amazing, and I often like the way they work, if you are the same, then have a look at her website, which is, http://www.mariannefoxockinga.co.uk/index.html
Bibury Trout Farm
Pinch, Punch, First of the month! (Again!).
Hello all.
The title was a saying of a dealer many of us used to know, and it’s still around, when I remember! My post today is to remind, or inform about our next event, this Sunday on October 6th in Bibury Village Hall.
Refreshments served by Angela will include panini as the weather gets cooler, and hot sandwich and soup may just well be ideal!
Here is a photograph of a stand a couple of months ago, and who hopes to return to us in the spring. It shows an example of the variety of items we do get. Hope you like it.
Regards, Andy.

Morning Flower!
Hello all.
What a sunny morning again and my sunflowers now resting after being bashed by the wind and rain, they are surprisingly heavy when tall!
Here is an old oak panel which I have just buffed up to show some of the carving a bit better, I quite like the flowers!
It will be for sale this Sunday in Bibury Village Hall.
Pop along and say hi!
Thanks, Andy.

We’re back! This Sunday is July 1st!
Hello All!
Just to say that this Sunday is July 1st and we will be on show at Bibury Village Hall from 10am to 4pm. Refreshments will be served from around 1130.
Our dealers have a great selection of items for sale and last month I photographed these glasses. Don’t be blue if you miss us, pop along and enjoy the day!
Regards, Andy.

May Day Sunshine!
Hello! It’s May Day and there is sunshine, what a lovely surprise!
This weekend is Bibury Antiques Fair so if nearby, and yes, there is a lot going on, being a Bank Holiday, please find a space t park and pop in to peruse our treasures for sale.
We open at 10am and close at 4pm, and refreshments will be available from noon, here is a cabinet of jewellery that you may like a few items from?
Thanks, Andy.

Back to School
Well, I gather school is back to normal, and as the Bibury Antiques Fair becomes closer, I thought this vintage folding desk was appropriate to be featured on the page.
What a handy item, being able to be folded reasonably flat, whilst being very sturdy in use, it could be just what you have been looking for? Maybe see you soon?
Regards, Andy.

Spooky! We’re back soon!
Hello again. Well, yes, Halloween time is here soon, and we are getting ready to put on a great show for visitors this Sunday, November 5th.
We have a great line up, so if you have the chance, call in to view and maybe buy too! This will be our final show this year, as we will be having a break, to return in March!
I haven’t got a spare coffin for halloween, but this Mahogany Cellerette is at least Sarcophagus shape, and is for sale, with a liner inside with six divisions!
Have a good week and hope to see you soon! Bye for now, Andy.

The Kitchen Cabinet!
Hello Folks!
Well, this little gem has been hiding in my kitchen for about 5 years or so, and prior to then was a workshop store for handy stuff, such as my part finished models of projects to be made full size, and all the delicate sketches and drawings of future work. When in the kitchen, was full of flour for bread and jars of honey, and some nice old steak knives which should be used more often, for any supper perhaps. Has a single interior shelf. Yes, I should have measured it, I’ll add sizes soon, unless it sells! Please call or email for info.
Well, here it is, an Oak Arched door cabinet with upper drawer. They keys are around somewhere as I had to remove them to wax and buff this prior to photography.
On show on Sunday October the first……..
Anyone remember the saying ” Pinch, Punch, First of the month, and no return!” Maybe I remember it as I was often on the receiving end, “Happy Days!?”.

What’s next?
Hello again!
This coming Sunday there are two new stallholders with us and I rarely know what people will bring, but I do know that after an hour or so of setting up, Bibury Village Hall becomes a place of people displaying their stalls, chatting, drinking tea and coffee and seeing what everyone has brought.
Why not call in during the day to see what we have on offer. I can say that there will be some great cakes, teas and coffee and sandwiches available from noon, so for all those people whom have had great suppers on Saturday, we are an ideal place for a break and a munch! Cyclists and walkers have bought cake to take away before too! Just a thought.
Here’s a fish that may be able to be taken home, and used, not eaten!
Have a good day, Andy.

Cheese and Biscuits Anyone?
Hello again!
I thought this may interest you, a great cheese jar from Harrods.
Well, just having finished supper, thought this was appropriate, although the cheese I am eating now came from Cheshire, and not in a jar either. Very nice though!
Why not come along on October 1st to see if it’s still for sale before the cheese is bought?
Have a good weekend.
Regards, Andy.
