Please be seated, let us begin……

Hello all! Well, tomorrow, on Sunday 3rd April we will be on show at Bibury Village Hall. We open at 10am and close at 4pm. Whilst I am not sure what the weather will be like, I suggest a decent warm coat just in case, the sunshine is lovely, but it’s not as warm as one thinks. In Bibury there’s plenty to see, by just wandering around, the Church, walks around the area, the Trout Farm is the oldest in Britain I think, and there’s The Catherine Wheel pub, as well as the Swan Inn, and not forgetting a more recent venue, The Twig, a small, but well packed coffee shop, who also sell fabulous sausage rolls, as I found out the other day! So if one gets a little time, stroll around the village and come to see us in The Village Hall near to the Church, and maybe an item or two may catch your liking, there’s lots to see, jewellery, glassware, brassware, ceramics, paintings and pictures, King Penguin books, and even some smaller items of furniture, and maybe some antique woodworking tools. Something I know is certainly going to be there is this recently tidied garden bench, just four feet long, or 120cm it’s an attractive simple comfortable garden bench. Here it is, and have a great weekend, thanks, Andy.

Nearly there!

Hello! Just a little note to say that Bibury Antiques Fair is on it’s way back! We return to The Village Hall on April 3rd 2022. Not long to wait now then. I’m just checking how all our dealers are and will be in showing a few photo’s of last years events to tempt you to come along and see us, maybe even buy something! We will be opening at 10am and we close at 4pm. Here are a few photo’s of past events so I hope you like them. Bye for now. Regards, Andy.

Look! An Extra Fair!

Hello all! Well, yes. We are having an extra fair on Sunday 5th December at Bibury Village Hall. We open at 10am and we will be closing at 3pm. This is our last fair this year, and we expect to return in the Spring, April seems good at the moment! There will be so many goodies to buy for Christmas and New Year gifts, so I hope you find something, if not then maybe ext time we are visited it will be just the perfect gift for One! Here’s a few photo’s of some of the decorations in The Hall. If you want to see us all there, well, hope you find us and a fab place to enjoy lunch, coffee, tea, and a place to stay perhaps! Best Wishes and Season’s Greeting! Andy.

Roll on September 5th!

Hello all, and just like many people, I’m finding this year has gone so quick in some ways, and so slow in others! However, my good news is that Bibury Antiques Fair is back on Sunday September 5th, from 10am until 4pm. We can be found easily close to the river and near The Church, at the opposite end of The Village from The Swan Hotel, and The Trout Farm. Here’s a few photographs of our recent events. Regards, Andy.

Looking Glass

Hello again! Well, what a year so far? I had an interesting call today for someone thinking I owned a shop in Bibury (sadly not me!), and was worried they couldn’t reach me before I closed to pay me and buy something! I hope they sorted that one out, but although the shop is for sale, it’s not mine to sell! Like many people, it’s been a complex year, and as I came down the stairs the other day, I decided that I should photo a barometer in a slightly different way, just as the light caught my image, and so here it is, hope you approve! Sadly we are not much further forward with confidence for the future of many indoor fairs and markets. Yes there are a few running, it seems to depend on the venue owners, or which County they are in, but I am not certain of the future, but we can wait and see, maybe the longer we don’t have fairs for, may mean that more stock gets sorted to come out on show when we do open the doors. Don’t forget in the meantime we have a few items on sale at antiques.co.uk go to the website and then search for Bibury Antiques Fair, happy browsing! All the best, see you soon! Andy.

Our Virtual Fair is Open Now, and tomorrow, and ……..

Hello all! I have some amazing news. Bibury Antiques Fair may only be a small event, however we believe we are the first Antiques Fair to have a “Virtual Fair”. Yes! With the help of Iain Brunt, and his website, we have our listing at https://www.antiques.co.uk/seller-items.cfm?maxrows=25&seller=4448&order=priceDESC&start=2 have a look and see what you find! This will be live for longer than our usual time, of just one Sunday a month, but we are entering exciting times, and so if you like it, we hope to be able to continue, so please have a puruse and possibly even a purchase! Shown here just to make you hurry, is “A Russian Bangle”. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking. Regards, Andy.
