Today I had to sort out a swarm, which happened when I was at the fair!
Here it is! (Or was during collection!) Now sitting in a hive on a table in the garden, awaiting it’s new place of residence!
All the best, Andy.

Hello again!
Yes, more! We are back this Sunday with more than one would think would be on display for just one day! Looking forward to seeing you there?
We will be full steam ahead, or “beavering on” just like the Canadian Pacific Railway!
We open at 10am and close at 4pm.
Regards, Andy.

Hello again!
Well, time has whizzed by and I can’t believe it’s almost a month since we were last at Bibury, and we will be there on Sunday May 7th.
The fair there last month was well attended with interesting stalls, and we have a new addition this month as one of our regular dealers has a break, but will be back in June.
Here are a few sparkles from the last fair.
Hope you like them.
Regards, Andy.

Hello again!
Are you sitting comfortably? Well, here is a small chaise which may be on show at the next Bibury Antiques Fair on May 7th.
If you have time, and like The Cotswolds, then Bibury is one of the many places to visit, and can be quite a gem.
Pop into see us from 10am to 4pm at The Village Hall and find a gem to take home, or buy the little chaise to store a few gems in!
Bye for now, Andy.

Hello again!
Time rolls on as ever and our next event in Bibury Village Hall will be on May 7th, open from 10am to 4pm.
We shall have a great display for you, and we have a couple of new dealers to us, to fill the gap made by others family commitments, so a surprise for all of us.
I have been busy doing a few restoration projects and some of my work will be on show, meanwhile this is a selection from John’s stand, he always has some interesting things, treen, ceramics, glass and metalware being amongst them.
Regards to all, Andy.

Hello Folks!
Wishing you all a happy Easter!
Here’s a little egg for everyone to share!
We will be on show again on May 7th!
All the best.
Andy.

Hello folks.
Well, I know that one Swallow doesn’t make a summer, but they are here! Pretty well around their usual time, and as ever, I get to see one and then a few, then they just go quiet for a few days or so, then more join the advance party.
So, I next start waiting, stretching my ears to hear a call, yes Cuckoo!
Here is a treen Cuckoo call I was given from a stallholder years ago, I have cleaned it and waxed it, mostly it sits in a bookcase, but I do use it, and yes it almost always gets a reply!
Don’t tend to use it much as I was told that by using them, it gets a reply as another male is defending territory, and if I persist, will go away, and despite their parasitic breeding habits, I do like to hear them.
Here it is, hope you like it.
Andy.

Morning Folks!
Well, our second event this year in Bibury, and I think it went well, we will be back on May 7th.
Despite the many distractions that were around on the day, other events near and far, we put on a great show and had many very welcome complimentary comments.
Here is a picture of The Flying Scotsman, I featured this as last week saw this train steaming along the Carlisle Settle line after recently being reopened after over a year of repairs to the line.
Have a good month and hope to see you soon!
Regards, Andy.

Wow! There’s a word I don’t use much!
But I took this photograph of a corner stand at Bibury (was the December fair!) and thought that it should be shared as I think it looks good!
Why not pop along this Sunday to see what we have on offer, as there should be 2 new dealers with us!
I’ll be there, as ever, with a few of my bits and bobs too, including an oak longcase clock if I can fit it in the car!
Whatever you do, have a good weekend, and don’t forget “The Boat Race!”
Regards, Andy.

Having had a busy couple of weeks getting bots and bobs ready for sale, I remembered this sweet little tea caddy. Burr Yew! Here it is! Hope you like it.
Well, maybe a little late for some people, but now it’s time for a pot of tea!
So, pop along to Bibury Antiques Fair on Sunday April 2nd and see what we have for sale.
Regards, Andy.
