Elm Corner Cabinet

On display soon will be this Elm and Oak Corner Cabinet.

The item undergoing a little restoration, basically tidying up, and replacing the modern plywood bottom, with old timber from an Elm Coffer, of about the same period.

Here are a few photographs, hope you like them. The sizes will be added over this weekend, and the first day out should be over the weekend of 16th and 17th March at The Holt Hotel, here’s the link, http://www.antiques-at-the-holt.co.uk maybe I’ll see you there?

Here it is as I got it, and now there has been some work on it. I may show those improved photo’s over the weekend. Please ask should you wish to see this item, as it is rather nice, and although had a replacement base, is mostly original. The interior paint shows that it was a piece used for display with the doors open as well as closed. This seems to have been protected by someone applying fabric to the interior, rather than re-painting, excellent!

Regards, Andy.
